FHP Group signs an agreement for the acquisition of 80% of the ‘BuT’ port terminal in Savona
FHP Group, through its subsidiary CFI, has started up the process for the integration of the subsidiaries LOTRAS and CFI Intermodal, a process that will be finalized in the coming months and which has seen, as the first steps, control of 100% of LOTRAS shares and a new corporate governance structure.
As a consequence, the company’s board of directors has also been renewed while continuing to count on the presence of Armando De Girolamo in the position of Vice President of the company. The board of directors is made up as follows:

In this way, FHP – the Italian leader in port and rail logistics for bulk goods, which is owned by Italy’s largest infrastructure fund manager, F2ì SGR – will begin the process of organizational and corporate integration between Lotras and CFI Intermodal to form FHP Intermodal, an integration which the FHP Group, led by CEO Paolo Cornetto, will be working on in the coming months.
Statement by Armando De Girolamo: “After developing and managing Lotras for more than 30 years, in 2023 my family sold 90% of the company to CFI because we believed in the project for the rationalization of the sector that was proposed to us by F2i. Today, having led the company up to now, we have decided to sell the remaining shares, and I have been appointed Vice President of the company. In my new role, I will continue to support the Lotras project and assist the new CEO, Angelo Accomando, in his dealings with our long-standing customers and in the development of new services to continue the growth of the company and the FHP Group”.
