L’integrazione tra infrastrutture portuali e poli industriali è un fattore strategico per ottimizzare la catena logistica e potenziare la competitività del sistema produttivo. Per questo, FHP ha rafforzato la propria integrazione con il sistema ferroviario nazionale attraverso l’ingresso nel Gruppo di Compagnia Ferroviaria Italiana (CFI), leader nel proprio settore, e della nuova società FHP Intermodal.

Thanks to this synergy, over 3,200 train pairs are guaranteed each year between the ports managed and the main Italian and European logistics hubs. The internal railway infrastructure within the terminals, totaling 41 km, allows for the smooth and timely management of freight flows, benefiting the industrial supply chains served. Intermodality is therefore a pillar of the Group's logistics strategy, contributing in a concrete way to decarbonization and transport optimization objectives.
